How to check the Bonsai toilet seat
In Globo’s design for the Bonsai toilet seat, the maximum width is 369 mm and the length is 373 mm. The hinge is of the ‘fixed Cominotti’ type. Measure the holes centre-to-centre and compare the result with the fixed dimension of 102 mm. The front bumpers are specified as 8 mm – 2 nails, and the rear ones as 8 mm – 2 nails.
Fitting the seat to the toilet
The seat arrives fully assembled, with the hinges already joining the lid and seat ring. Insert the new fixings into the holes in the pan and tighten them. Then attach the assembled seat to the fixings.
Hinge maintenance
The screws holding the hinges to the seat engage with steel threads. If a screw works loose, you can retighten it. If a hinge breaks while the seat is still in good condition, contact Kosedicasa to replace just the hinge. This service is for seats purchased from us.
