How to check the disabled-accessible toilet
In the design of the Kerasan toilet seat for disabled-accessible toilets, the maximum width is 373 mm and the length is 436 mm. For the ‘T 230 hinge kit with 9 screws, 65’ fixing method, measure the distance between the centres of the holes in the toilet bowl. The hinge centre-to-centre distance is adjustable from 75 to 205 mm. The front bumpers are marked as angled – 2 nails; the rear ones as 10 mm – 2 nails.
Fitting the seat to the toilet
The seat arrives fully assembled, with the hinges already joining the lid and seat ring. Insert the new fixings into the holes in the pan and tighten them. Then attach the assembled seat to the fixings.
Hinge maintenance
The screws holding the hinges to the seat engage with steel threads. If a screw works loose, you can retighten it. If a hinge breaks while the seat is still in good condition, contact Kosedicasa to replace just the hinge. This service is for seats purchased from us.
