How to identify the seat for Velara
For this Ideal Standard model, the mould has been remade to match the shape of the toilet. The technical data sheet shows a seat 344 mm wide and 444 mm long. The hinge centre-to-centre distance is adjustable from 75 to 205 mm. Measure the distance between the centres of the holes on your toilet bowl and check that it falls within the adjustment range.
Fitting the seat to the toilet
The seat arrives fully assembled, with the hinges already joining the lid and seat ring. Insert the new fixings into the holes in the pan and tighten them. Then attach the assembled seat to the fixings.
Hinge maintenance
The screws holding the hinges to the seat engage with steel threads. If a screw works loose, you can retighten it. If a hinge breaks while the seat is still in good condition, contact Kosedicasa to replace just the hinge. This service is for seats purchased from us.
